Like so many ancient glacial valleys, the Vallée du Giffre is a majestic playground for occasional hikers or hardcore trekkers who enjoy going on hikes lasting several days.

The Haut-Giffre reveals its extraordinary Alpine character through its sheer mountain faces, vertiginous peaks and waterfalls cascading down the craggy hillsides. The trails make their way through discreet passages, leading explorers to high altitude lakes, lapies, névés and mountain passes at the summits. Along the trail, Mont Blanc looms in all its majestic splendour, whilst ibex and marmots are photographed by passing hikers, exhilarated by the wide open spaces and high altitude.
